Somewhere Over the Rainbow and the Importance of Daydreaming.

Daydreaming is an important process in the development of the imagination. In this fast moving world, time to daydream seems ever more difficult to find or justify. While we daydream we are existing on a plane that can't be reached by any other route other than meditation. The development of the imagination can lead to great inventions, new original thought, a capacity to see the larger picture, to express our true selves, to find ourselves and who we really are.  Take time out in the day to drift into that other world where everything and anything is possible.

In a way, daydreaming can develop faith in something or somebody and with faith comes strength, hope and confidence. It can help unravel complicated problems and help in the solving of something seen as unfathomable. It can help to clear our path and move us forward in the direction we want to go. How many of us have found what we have been searching for over the rainbow in a moment of daydreaming.

Happy dreaming.

Hi Elfreda,

Thank you for the reminder of daydreaming. I am guilty of not taking this time. As a matter of fact, I too often am serious about what I am trying to accomplish.

God bless you my friend
