Valentine's Day Poem

Where Art thou Valentine?
Stillness, silence, one moment of blocked out sound,
a passing look at the pond where the lilies grow
and the sunlight shining on the water.
Eyes shut and the warmth of the sun heating
your face, warming the soul, the sea gently breathing
inwards and outwards. In tune with nature, in
tune with that moment of blissful thought- of just being.
finds a space within the cracks of the mind
and lingers...where is my valentine? In my mind
sharing the beauty of the earth with me, in my
mind...only in my mind...
Existing on a level that is unreachable
by the human hand. There is my Valentine, an
untangable, ephemeral vision.
Too far, too distant to make a reality...
Wishing all on searchWarp a Happy Valentine's Day with their
Valentines, whether they are with you in mind, body and/or spirit.
