When the space between us is too much to bare,
When I reach out my hand and you're not there,
And nothing on earth will mend the void twixt
your world and mine in distance, time.
I think of the ideals that we share
a meeting of minds, so beautiful, rare,
And live your dreams from day to day
Growing in true meaning.
I want to lay in fields of clover,
Knowing that I have spent my life
loving you in my own sweet way.
No tears, no broken dreams, no shattered heart
just one love and life fulfilled...
Search beyond the distant horizon,
Over the mountains and sea,
For there is someone reaching out a hand,
to keep you company, in your darkest hours,
brightest days, I will always be there for thee.
So, goodnight, sweet dreams my friend,
Will we ever meet again?
