It could have been that we were born 100 years apart,
And never known a friendship sown, it's such a work of art.
Distanced though we are in space we're on earth together
with God's grace....
This makes me happy to be alive...
I feel you in my heart, warm and loving friend
and it makes me glad to be alive...
On waking, I see your smiling eyes
and I know it is going to be a beautiful day
and I am so grateful to be alive...
Throughout the day I am never alone,
My precious friend, my inner home,
A gift to be on earth with you,
Happiness, love and contentment true.
It only takes one special, unique being to give real meaning to your life, but it has to be the right one. I am so lucky that I have found the one and only person that can fill my life with so much joy that my cup overflows with love and gratitude to God for this precious gift of friendship. Now when the time comes on leaving this world behind, whenever that may be, I will go to my maker in peace knowing I
have truly had the warm hand of friendship to hold for eternity in my heart.
