Iceman

The winter months in Norway are bitter, dark and gray,
But still your heart is colder in the merry month of May.
The desert sleeps without a sound- all throughout the night
But your voice is stiller yet, your lips held firm and tight.

The midnight sun shines brightly, across the Northern fjords,
Where is the sun that once shone brighter from one smile of yours.
The hand of love that reaches to every kind of creature,
What happened to your guiding voice that enlightened every teacher.

Then Iceman stay in your igloo and feed your frozen heart,
and bear no care for those who live a thousand miles apart.
For one who lives a life of on-line communication,
yet you cannot find a way out of verbal constipation.

So, Norway stand up proudly above the mountains high,
And pity the cold old Iceman who cannot live or die.
What ever happens next my friend remember who you are
And  keep the home fires burning and brightly shine that star.
